- Any downsides to using CNG forklifts?
- CNG emits toxic carbon monoxide during incomplete combustion, even though it is cleaner than diesel. It is therefore necessary to monitor and ventilate indoors (using CO detectors, for example), which adds complexity and costs. CNG pressure may drop in very cold temperatures. This can reduce fuel efficiency and power output.
